I’m Clare Fergusson and I’m the founder of Aurora Virtual Executive Assistant.
I created Aurora following a twenty year career in the London legal and real estate industries in various administrative and management roles including EA to the CEO of a large international law firm, IT Business Relationship Manager and IT Business Support Desk Team Leader.

I created Aurora following a twenty year career in the London legal and real estate industries in various administrative and management roles including EA to the CEO of a large international law firm, IT Business Relationship Manager and IT Business Support Desk Team Leader.
I really enjoyed my time working in such busy roles for large corporate firms and if it wasn’t for a big change in my personal life in 2021 Aurora might never have taken form.
In 2021 my son Theo was born and my partner and I made the decision to move house and raise our family in the countryside. It was then that I decided to use my skills and experience to build my own Virtual Assistant business. I wanted to continue doing the work that I love but for a wider range of clients and industries and with more freedom and autonomy.
The name Aurora was partly inspired by my Swedish partner and his love of the Northern Lights and partly by the symbol of Aurora, Goddess of the Dawn. The combination of a new dawn in my personal life with the start of our family, and in my professional life with the start of my business, made it feel somehow fitting.
My mission is to help clients successfully navigate their own new dawns – whether in the form of a new product or launch, growing their business, advancing their careers or releasing time and energy to pursue their personal and business goals.
